«Everyone has to see it with the Lord: pray, help financially… everything is necessary» – P. Mariusz Kielbasa, LC, helping Ukraine from Poland

-P. Mariusz desde Polonia pide ayuda para Ucrania, para LC

The Fr. Mariusz Kielbasa is a Legionary priest of Christ currently living in Poland. Amidst the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, members of the Polish Regnum Christi are carrying out various initiatives to help the refugees. A few days ago, Fr. Mariusz, LC, launched an international aid appeal to the Regnum Christi family, in which, among other things, he explained that “after five days of war, Poland has received more than 400,000 refugees providing them with shelter, a home, food, clothing, etc..” You can read his aid request here. However, the communication office in Spain wanted to know firsthand how the Regnum Christi in Poland is experiencing this situation, to which Fr. Mariusz responded as follows.

What does the Lord say to you in this particular situation?

One really doesn’t have much time to think about it. The situation happened so quickly that we didn’t even know what to do first. What truly motivated us were the messages from various parts of the world asking how we can help as Regnum Christi. That’s how the initiative was born. It gave me great peace to know that we are a large family sensitive to each other’s needs.

What would you expect and wish from your brothers in Regnum Christi?

Everyone has to see it with the Lord. Some can pray, others promote the initiative. Many will also be able to help financially. All these forms are very necessary.
