He was born on April 5, 1984, in Meerbusch, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. He entered the Novitiate of Bad Münstereifel in September 2002. He made his perpetual profession in October 2010 and was ordained a priest on December 12, 2015, in Rome. He holds a Doctorate in Theology from the University of Notre Dame and a Licentiate in Philosophy from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.

In his academic formation, he obtained a Licentiate in Philosophy (L.Ph.) and a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture (S.S.L.). He pursued postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and completed a doctorate at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity. His dissertation focused on “Life as Warfare in the Hymns and Homilies of Ephrem the Syrian.”

In addition to his academic work, he is spiritual director for Legionaries of Christ in formation and leads retreats and spiritual exercises.

He is currently a Professor of Biblical Theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum and also collaborates with the Sacerdos Institute.
