Fr. Juan Carlos Quintero, L.C., was born on September 9, 1980, in Medellín, Colombia. In February 2004, he entered the novitiate, and in January 2006, he made his first profession of vows. He studied classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology. He was ordained a priest on December 12, 2015, in Rome.

Among his apostolic activities, the following stand out: vocational promotion in Venezuela, director of the youth section in Medellín, local director of the apostolate in Medellín, director of Colegio Cumbres Medellín, director of the women’s section in Pereira, national coordinator of vocational promotion for adults, and director of formation at Highlands Quito School. He currently serves as director of the youth section in Quito, superior of the community of the apostolate house in Quito, and territorial vicar.
