The Father Fabio Marcos Guedes, L.C., was born in Brasília, Brazil, on April 28, 1981. He was a member of ECYD in 1996 and joined Regnum Christi in 1997. In 1998, he entered the Legion, completed his Novitiate in Arujá, Brazil, and made his first profession there on February 27, 2000, and his perpetual profession in 2006. He studied classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain. From 2001 to 2002, he completed his bachelor’s degree in philosophy at the then Centro de Estudios Superiores de São Paulo, and he holds a degree in philosophy from the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum. He completed his apostolic practices as an assistant to humanists and philosophers in São Paulo from 2001 to 2003 and as a prefect of apostolics in Córdoba, Argentina, from 2003 to 2006. He has studied theology at the Ateneo Pontificio Regina Apostolorum.
He was ordained a deacon on July 2, 2011, and a priest on December 12 of the same year. During his first 6 years as a priest, he served as the territorial secretary of Brazil. Currently, he is the section director for ladies in São Paulo and the superior of the apostolic community in the same city.
