The Rev. Jaime Rodríguez, L.C., was born in Madrid on October 15, 1976. On September 14, 1994, he entered the Novitiate of the Legion of Christ in Salamanca, where he also completed his humanistic studies. He worked for three years with youth groups in Valencia (Spain), as head of the Faro Club and as a Catholic formation teacher at the Colegio Cumbres in that city.
He holds a degree in philosophy and theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum. In 2005, he was appointed personal secretary to the general director. He was ordained a priest on December 20, 2008. From 2011, he served as secretary general of the congregation until 2018. He is currently the superior of the community of father-students in Rome while studying for his doctorate in theology.
