The Rev. Ignacio Sarre Guerreiro, L.C., was born in Mexico City on April 11, 1978. He studied at the Instituto Cumbres and was a member of ECYD. In 1993, he joined the Student Center and at the age of 18, he consecrated himself to God in Regnum Christi. He made his religious profession on September 15, 1999, in Salamanca, where he also studied humanities. During his apostolic practices, he worked at Club Faro and at the Irish Institute of Monterrey; he made his perpetual profession on August 15, 2005. He was ordained a priest on December 24, 2010.

Since 2008, he has collaborated in various areas of the General Directorate, especially in initial formation, and was rector of the community of brothers from 2014 to 2018. He was also a member of the commission for the development of the Ratio Institutionis. Currently, he is the rector of the philosophy faculty at the International College of the Legion of Christ in Rome.
