17The Rev. Ricardo Sada, L.C., was born in 1955 in Madrid, Spain. In 1972, he joined Regnum Christi. He was a consecrated lay member of Regnum Christi from 1972 to 1977. On August 6, 1977, he entered the novitiate of the Legion of Christ in Salamanca and was ordained a priest on December 24, 1985, in Rome. He holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. From January 1982 until October 2011, he collaborated as a vocations promoter in the northern region of Mexico. At different times, he has served as the youth section director of Regnum Christi in Torreón and San Luis Potosí, Mexico. From September 2007 to October 2011, he was the founder and director of the VALIA center dedicated to the training of entrepreneurs in Monterrey. He was the assistant to the territorial director for religious life and a territorial counselor in the Monterrey territory. He is the territorial director of the Legion of Christ and a member of the Territorial Management College of Regnum Christi in Mexico and Central America.
