«Focus on the most important thing in our life and mission» – Letter from the General School Board for Christ the King

«Poner la mirada en lo más importante de nuestra vida y misión» – Carta del Colegio Directivo General para Cristo Rey

The General Governing Board of Regnum Christi has just sent a letter on the occasion of Christ the King Day, inviting the entire Regnum Christi family to seek to be «witnesses of Jesus Christ’s love through unity and charity among us».

The letter asks «to focus on the most important aspects of our life and mission: God’s personal call to each of us, and to the entire spiritual family, to make present the mystery of Christ the Apostle who «goes out to meet people»».

This is the first Christ the King letter sent by the General Governing Board since the Statutes of the Regnum Christi Federation came into effect. It is a special and historic moment to celebrate the solemnity of Christ the King and «rediscover, with renewed joy and gratitude, how God has come to meet us also through so many situations, circumstances, men and women whom He has used to reveal His love and gather us in His Church and in Regnum Christi».

The letter also offers various links to renew, out of devotion, the commitments in Regnum Christi, a text that can be viewed in the new ritual recently made known. It also provides a document and a video infographic about the identity of Regnum Christi according to the Statutes. Additionally, there is a video titled «Live the mystery», all materials prepared by the life and mission area of the General Directorate of Regnum Christi and part of an initiative to deepen the understanding of the identity of Regnum Christi as reflected in the Statutes of the Regnum Christi Federation.

The PDF version of the letter can be downloaded at this link.

It is hoped that these documents will be of great help in growing in knowledge and living out the charism of Regnum Christi.
