On June 15th, Father Eduardo Robles Gil, Director General of the Legionaries of Christ and the Regnum Christi Movement, presided over the Eucharistic celebration with friends and benefactors of Universidad Anáhuac on the occasion of the recent appointment of Father Cipriano Sánchez, LC, as the new rector of Universidad Anáhuac México.
The Mass was held in the university chapel and was concelebrated by Father Ricardo Sada, LC, Territorial Director of Mexico and Central America, and by Father Cipriano himself.
Subsequently, in the exhibition hall of the Huixquilucan campus, a dinner was offered with friends and benefactors where Father Cipriano Sánchez García, LC, was welcomed.
Father Eduardo Robles Gil, LC, thanked the more than 300 attendees for their friendship and support for education in Mexico. He also took the opportunity to explain the meaning of the recent integration of Universidad Anáhuac México Norte and México Sur into a single university, and the synergies this entails.

For his part, Father Cipriano also expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their trust and the closeness they have shown to the Legion of Christ and Regnum Christi, helping to make Universidad Anáhuac today an option of academic excellence in the metropolitan area of Mexico City.
The event was also attended by Act. Abraham Cárdenas, a consecrated lay member of Regnum Christi, who served as rector of Universidad Anáhuac México Sur, as well as various Legionaries, consecrated laity, religious women, and members of the Movement, in addition to benefactors of the university.
