He is originally from Monterrey, where he was born on July 19, 1984. He studied from preschool through middle school at the Instituto Irlandés de Monterrey. He completed high school at Tec de Monterrey, where he also began his undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering. From 2005 to 2006, he served as a Regnum Christi coworker in Padua, Italy. He entered the Legion of Christ in 2006 and was ordained a priest in December 2017 in Rome.
From 2017 to 2023, he served as director of youth ministry for Regnum Christi in the southern area of Mexico City and as a member of the local apostolate council. During the pandemic, together with a group of families, he founded the Sagrada Familia shelter in Tlalpan. From 2022 to 2023, he was a member of the Presbyteral Council of the Archdiocese of Mexico.
Since 2023, he has been community superior in the western area of Mexico City. He is director of the University Mission program for young people in vocational discernment and assistant director of Pinecrest International School. He recently completed a master’s degree in Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical University of Mexico.
