Father Devin Michael Roza, L.C., was born on November 29, 1977, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. He studied at Creighton Preparatory High School and completed one year of liberal arts at the University of Dallas. In 1997, he entered the novitiate of the Legion of Christ in Cheshire, Connecticut. He studied classical humanities in Salamanca, Spain, and obtained a licentiate in philosophy from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum in Rome. He collaborated for four years in the formation of Legionaries as a professor of classical humanities in Cheshire.

He was ordained a priest by Cardinal Velasio de Paolis on December 12, 2011, at the Basilica of St. John Lateran in Rome. He obtained a licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. In 2015, he published the book Fulfilled in Christ: The Sacraments. A Guide to Symbols and Types in the Bible and Tradition.

He is currently a visiting professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.
