Music, fun, pilgrimage and formation in the Holy Land
Magdala Center in Galilee has created for the first time an event for all young people, and those young at heart, who have the desire to change the world through a personal encounter with Jesus Christ in his Land.
“This is a unique pilgrimage in which holy places will be visited, but the joy of faith will also be celebrated through a music festival and the fraternity of the Church will be renewed on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus encouraged his disciples to cast their nets, filling them with hope,” Fr. Juan Solana LC, director and founder of Magdala Center.
In the words of Pope Francis, Magdala invites all “restless travelers open to the unprecedented, who are not afraid to confront, dialogue, -make noise- “, to live a summer in the Holy Land that will change their lives forever.
The event will take place from July 21 to July 31. The itinerary includes 10 days in the Holy Land with guided visits to holy places, walking tours following Jesus’ path, moments of prayer and a great concert with the presence of international Christian musicians.
A “backpacker-VIP” travel style, in which participants have a pilgrim and walker spirit, but ensuring a comfortable trip in comfortable accommodations, thus adapting to young people, families, parishes and everyone who wishes to join.
The center of Magdala’s Encounter Youthfest is getting to know Jesus in his land and sharing this experience with others, through moments of prayer, walking tours and a music festival.
The pilgrim has to be prepared to carry their backpack with them, but we assure them they can count on comfortable and cozy accommodations where to rest, and an itinerary adapted to families and participants of all ages, who share a young spirit.
