Former Director General, 2014-2020
He was born in Mexico City on September 18, 1952. He studied at the Cumbres Institute and obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Anahuac University. He consecrated himself to Regnum Christi in 1975 and entered the Legion of Christ in 1977. He was ordained a priest on August 20, 1983. He was superior at the Formation Center for consecrated lay members of Regnum Christi in Madrid and at various apostolate centers. In Mexico, he was territorial administrator for two years. In Brazil, he collaborated in the founding of the Legion and Regnum Christi. In Mexico City, he has served as director of the Irish Institute and CEYCA Elementary School, and director of the women’s section of Regnum Christi. He was appointed territorial director of Mexico on August 1, 2013. On January 20, 2014, he was elected general director of the Legion of Christ and Regnum Christi. Since 2020, he has been administrator of Anahuac University in Mexico.
