He was born on January 18, 1956, in Cantabria, Spain. He entered the Legion of Christ in 1973 and was ordained a priest on December 24, 1986. He has served as chaplain at Anáhuac University Mexico and as director of the youth section in West Mexico City. He has been community superior on several occasions. He was Territorial Director in Mexico from 1992 to 2000. He has served as territorial counselor and was local director of Regnum Christi in West Mexico City and in Costa Rica. He also served as director of the men’s section in West Mexico City. He is currently the director of the women’s section in South Mexico City.
