Fr. Alejandro de la Garza Gossler, L.C., was born on December 2, 1983, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, and was ordained a priest on May 22, 2021, at the Parish and Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima. He entered the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in Monterrey in 2009, professing his first vows in 2011 and his perpetual vows in 2018. He completed his ecclesiastical studies in philosophy and theology at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (APRA) in Rome, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in both areas. His formation included stages in various communities of the congregation in Mexico, Italy, and Spain, as well as a period of apostolic practice.Currently, Fr. Alejandro is director of the youth section in Monterrey (ECA) and advisor to the apostolate house of San Pedro. He has served as director of the youth section in southern Mexico City and as assistant in the Apostolate area of Regnum Christi, in addition to collaborating in the general administration of the congregation. His career reflects a solid pastoral preparation, close accompaniment of young people, and a commitment to integral formation in the faith within Regnum Christi.
