The Institute was born as a proposal for ongoing training and accompaniment, both in person and through an APP, for all those who want Christ at the center of their lives.
Last December, the 1st Beneficial Dinner of the Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) was held in São Paulo, an initiative of Regnum Christi dedicated to evangelization and pastoral work.
The main goal of the event was to present the Institute’s benefactors with a summary of the work carried out during 2023 and plans for 2024, which include evangelization projects, particularly the expansion plans of Seedtime, the Catholic Meditation APP developed by the Catholic Leadership Institute, available for Android and iPhone, which currently has over 12,000 downloads.

Following the presentation of the Institute’s figures and objectives, the meeting was followed by a dinner that concluded with a gift raffle for the participants and an auction with various items specially selected for the occasion.
Among the attendees were supporters of the Institute’s works and Seedtime, as well as special guests such as Fr. André Delvaux, L.C., Territorial Director of Legionaries of Christ. Also present were Fr. Salvador M. Calderón L.C., and Fr. Rodrigo Hurtado, L.C., director of the CLI.
A Special Charity Auction
As mentioned earlier, during the dinner, guests also had the opportunity to participate in an auction aimed at raising funds for the development of the Catholic Leadership Institute’s evangelization efforts, especially through Seedtime, which is reaching an important stage.
Images of a one-meter-long “Mary in Action” were auctioned. This image of Our Lady is part of an apostolate of the CLI, created to bring the presence of the Mother of God to the workplace, where she is enthroned and people can find, in a prominent place in the company, a space to encounter God through Mary.
Other items such as prestigious wine labels donated by benefactors supporting evangelization efforts and trusting in the transformative potential of the CLI’s apostolates, especially the Seedtime app, were also auctioned.

For now, the main goal of the institute is technological progress and the professionalization of the Seedtime app. The aim is to definitively spread it throughout Latin America Spanish-speaking countries, allowing neighboring countries to also connect with Christ.
Additionally, the app aims for people to create bonds in small groups, such as parishes, for example. These objectives revolve around:
- Prayer Groups: To strengthen prayers when united
- Bible Study Groups: To truly and correctly spread the Word of the Savior
- Meditation Groups: To calm and ennoble the soul at the same time.
