On Friday, April 22nd, the humanists of the Cheshire Humanities Center, Connecticut, were able to learn more about Regnum Christii, after having gone on missions for several days in about eight cities in United States and Mexico.
It all started from the initiative of a group of brothers who contacted 8 people among Legionaries of Christ, Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, Laity of Regnum Christi, and Lay members of Regnum Christi to give conferences, workshops, and testimonies about Regnum Christi. Most of the presentations were virtual, which allowed taking advantage of the internationality of Regnum Christi; additionally, several Q&A sessions were held on the topic “What is Regnum Christi and who are the Legionaries to you?”.
On the afternoon of Thursday, April 21st, the day began with testimonies from second-year humanities students about their Holy Week Missions, followed by a Eucharistic Hour; the next day, «RC LIFE» started, which began with greetings to members of Regnum Christi from United States,Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Poland, Austria, Slovakia, Ivory Coast, Philippines, and South Korea. The motto of this «RC LIFE» was “The Great Mission” (Communion-Mission), which emphasizes that the mission is in common.
This RC LIFE aimed to give humanities students a more practical view of apostolate through workshops such as:

“Tips for Human Relations in Apostolate”, by Father Julio Muñoz, LC

“How to Approach Today’s Youth”, by Father Edward Hopkins, LC

“How to Start an Apostolate from Scratch”, by Father Jorge Obregón, LC

“Tips for Mentoring and Guidance”, by Carola Grove, Consecrated Woman of Regnum Christi.”
Then, testimonies were given by:

Rorro Echávez, a young member of Regnum Christi from Monterrey, spoke about “Regnum Christi and how to do apostolate on social media”.

Alejandra Carson, a young member of Regnum Christi from Bogotá, spoke about “Her life in Regnum Christi and how she helped in the founding of Search”.
At the end of the «RC LIFE» day, Brother Óscar Jaúregui, LC, commented, “We leave with many practical tools for our apostolate,” while Brother Juan Camilo Estévez, LC, said: “We were able to learn more about our Regnum Christi family through the testimonies and the good that God has done in these people.”
Father Timothy Walsh, LC, rector of the Cheshire Humanities Center, described the day as “fruitful, and I was able to see the brothers quite enthusiastic about the mission that awaits them.”
