III Peregrinación ‘La Andariega’ por el Camino de Santa Teresa

The Fr. Arturo Díaz LC has organized the pilgrimage of “La Andariega” once again this year, during which they walk the path of Saint Teresa of Jesus over several days. This year, Fr. Arturo has created a video capturing various experiences of the pilgrims. “I am delighted to be here in this edition, I am sure that Saint Teresa would tell us to keep going, because on her paths there has been snow and cold, but we must keep moving forward and arrive,” explains Pilar Cuellar, a pilgrim on this journey.

For his part, Javier Peña, who has completed the route three times since it was organized, notes that “this pilgrimage is one of the most anticipated moments of the year: you walk 30 kilometers to reconnect with your spiritual point,” he explains. Additionally, he affirms that his Abulense feeling connects with this pilgrimage. “It’s a moment to share with friends and reflect,” adds Peña. He also explains that this idea was born three years ago, with Fr. Arturo, with the aim of explaining the life of Saint Teresa of Ávila: “This has a very important impact and we want it to be an event that takes place every year, involving all of us who share this feeling,” concludes Peña.

Diana is a young woman who also participated in the pilgrimage this year. “It has been a great experience and an opportunity to learn more about Saint Teresa, the path she walked, and to meet very interesting people,” explains Diana.
