The P. Georg Rota L.C., was born on November 7, 1981, in Kempten, Germany. He entered the Legion of Christ on September 6, 2002, completing his novitiate in Bad Münstereifel. He made his perpetual profession on September 1, 2007, in the United States and was ordained a priest on December 14, 2013, in Rome. As a religious, he was assigned to work as a teacher at the training center in Cheshire, Connecticut, and as an assistant to philosophers in Thornwood from 2005 to 2009. Since 2013, he has collaborated with the youth section in Munich, serving as director of that section from 2015 to 2019. Since March 2017, he has also served as the local director of apostolate of the RC in Bavaria, and since August of this year, he has been the director of the gentlemen and ladies section of Bavaria. He is also a counselor of the Neuötting-Alzgern community since September 2016.
