Fallece en Venezuela el P. Pedro Campos, L.C.

Published on 6 September, 2018
News

With deep sadness, we inform you that our brother, Fr. Pedro Campos, L.C., passed away this morning due to a severe stroke.

Yesterday, in the late afternoon, while driving from the city of Valera to Mérida, accompanied by the administrator of the vocational center, Fr. Pedro suffered a stroke that caused him to lose some movement in his legs. As he was driving, he could not brake and hit his vehicle head-on without major consequences. Upon exiting the vehicle, he felt dizzy and lost all his memory. He was admitted to the intensive care unit at a clinical center in the city of Valera, where he was admitted in critical condition. Despite receiving all necessary medical care, on the morning of today, Thursday, September 6, 2018, at approximately 11:15 a.m., he passed away.

We thank you all for your expressions of affection and closeness, and we ask you to entrust his soul to the Lord, as well as his family, his community, and all the people who have been close to him during his priestly life.
