Utopia and Dystopia

The dreams and visions of great authors dissatisfied with society

A “utopia” is literally an “unexistent place”. Great minds of humanity have thought about what a happy or just society should be like. But instead of writing treaties and statistical studies, they have left us incredible narratives and descriptions that we call “utopias”. Other authors have preferred to describe what an unhappy and unjust society would be like: we call that a “dystopia”. In-forming aims to make the reader reflect on the reality of our society, guided by great visionary authors of their time and ours.
