The 29th of April, P. John Connor, LC announced that P. Hernán Jiménez, LC, Vicar General, will be the new delegate of the General Director for the international houses in Rome, and P. Jesús Villagrasa, LC, General Counselor, will replace P. Juan José Arrieta, LC, as delegate of the General Director for Holy Land.

The delegates of the General Director will have all the powers that the canonical law grants to the territorial director and that are not linked to the opinion or consent of the Council. When canonical law provides for hearing the opinion or requesting the consent of the territorial Council or the General Council, the delegates will present the matters to the General Director for their proper resolution with the General Council.

The Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, the European University of Rome, the UER university residence, the Highlands College of Rome, the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Philip the Martyr, as well as Edizioni ART will be governed by the governance structures indicated in their respective statutes. Therefore, the delegate of the General Director for Rome will not have authority over these works of apostolate.
