My takeaway is that wherever you go, you are called to be an apostle

“Was a different day compared to others I had attended,” says Cristina Ayuso, especially because of the series of testimonies and roundtables in which they participated, Daniel Sada, rector of UFV; María Pintor, director of Highlands School Los Fresnos; and Salvador Antuñano, Humanities professor at UFV, among others, last weekend in Reajo del Roble.

From the testimonies, Cristina highlights an idea from Daniel Sada: “You have to love what you do, you have to commit.” Each wanted to convey different ideas but all focused on the attitude of service that should exist in various areas of life. Additionally, there was time to reflect on the new stage the Movement is experiencing and to talk about the renewal process, in which young people also participate. And together with Fr. Carlos Zancajo, L.C., territorial director of Regnum Christi, and Lourdes Santos, territorial director of the consecrated, they were able to discover what role they are asking laypeople to play at this moment and, above all, he comments: “I take away the idea that wherever you go, you are called to be an apostle.”

Cristina also shares that “throughout the weekend there was an incredible atmosphere, a family atmosphere. Many of us didn’t know each other, but it didn’t matter.” The event included people from all over Spain: Palma de Mallorca, Valencia, Seville, Córdoba, Barcelona, and Madrid. It was a great weekend full of motivation for young people.
