Weeks ago, about 200 young people belonging to the apostolates of Regnum Christi gathered at the Dante Alighieri School in the city of São Paulo for the “National Apostolates Meeting” (ENAp).

The participants represented ECYD, Dream Awake, and Youth Missionary, and also included consecrated persons and Legionaries of Christ from the states of Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Pernambuco, and the Federal District; two young people from Argentina also attended.

Throughout the event, they shared experiences from their localities, participated in workshops related to the themes of their respective apostolates, talks, moments of spirituality, and integration. Among these was an exchange about what is understood as “apostle” within the Movement.

Filipe Domiano, a member of the São Paulo Movement and in charge of organizing the event, spoke about the importance of this experience: “One of the great challenges of ENAp was to foster encounters between different localities, among various apostolates and projects, as well as the different ways of living spirituality.

A significant moment was the gathering of collaborators from various generations, who recalled their time of collaboration and encouraged those interested to have this experience. Cristoffer Valverde, a former collaborator, organized this activity. He commented: “I hope moments like these happen more often because they also allow us to feel the strength of youth, as the Pope has mentioned so many times.”

After the closing Mass, it was announced that the next ENAp would be held in the city of Curitiba in 2016.
