For the new deacons—Eduardo, Bosco, and José Alberto—something had changed. It was not that their stories had ended, but rather that, after three very different journeys, they were now beginning a new chapter together, dedicated entirely to the service of God and others.
On Saturday, August 15, the Basilica of Guadalupe hosted the diaconal ordination of three new Legionaries of Christ: Eduardo Vidal Di Maio, Bosco Rivero, and José Alberto Rincón. Their vocational stories converged here, though they had begun years earlier in vastly different ways. One heard the call in childhood, another had to stop running from it, and the third learned to recognize it amidst questions that matured over the years.
The celebration, presided over by Msgr. Jorge Carlos Patrón Wong, Archbishop of Xalapa, brought together family, friends, and members of Regnum Christi who had closely accompanied each of these men on their journeys to the altar.
