Fr. José Enrique García Sentandreu, L.C., was born in Valencia, Spain, on April 19, 1965. He entered the novitiate of the Legionaries of Christ in September 1984 and made his perpetual vows in September 1992. He completed his formation and earned a doctorate in philosophy. His priestly ordination took place on January 1, 2000.

Throughout his career, Fr. García Sentandreu has served in various roles within the congregation, focusing primarily on education and pastoral ministry. He has worked with young people and adolescents in Spain and has used media such as a blog for formation. His leadership positions include the directorship of El Encinar and, beginning in June 2024, the directorship of Highlands School Sevilla.

He is also a member of the auxiliary team of the Youth Section of Seville.
