The Logos Priestly Center commemorated its twenty-fifth anniversary with its annual convention, held from May 2 to 4. The event began at the Basilica of Guadalupe with a moving Mass of thanksgiving, followed by various conferences, inspiring testimonies, and enriching spaces for fellowship at its retreat house located in Amecameca, State of Mexico.

The Logos Priestly Center is an apostolate of the Legion of Christ and Regnum Christi at the service of the Bishops in the area of ​​ongoing formation of the Clergy and integral formation in seminaries. It supports the formation of both seminarians and priests, offering specific programs for their initial and ongoing formation, respectively, in the various areas of integral formation.

It recently celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary, an opportunity to share achievements, challenges, and best practices among local teams, and to recognize key collaborators.

In this framework, it held its annual convention from May 2 to 4. The meeting brought together local directors, lay people from various dioceses in Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador, as well as priests collaborating in the apostolate, at the Basilica of Guadalupe. A thanksgiving Mass was celebrated. The activities continued at the retreat center in Amecameca, State of Mexico, with a program that included lectures, testimonies, and fraternal moments of fellowship.

The convention was marked by a palpable spirit of unity and gratitude. The inaugural celebration took place in the Chapel of St. Joseph of the Basilica of Guadalupe, with a Mass presided over by Father Alfonso López Muñoz, LC, director of the Logos Priestly Center, who was accompanied by Fathers Vincent McMahon and Luis Alfonso Orozco, also Legionaries of Christ and members of the management team. During his homily, Father Alfonso recalled the history of the apostolate and expressed his deep gratitude for the generous dedication of the local directors, both current and past, in their service to priests.

During the meeting in Amecameca, Fathers McMahon, Orozco, and López Muñoz offered insightful presentations on the identity and mission of the priest. Particularly significant were the testimonies of diocesan Fathers Rodrigo Guadarrama and Leonardo Martínez, who shared their priestly experiences and their connection with the Logos Center.

The convention provided a valuable opportunity for the various local teams to share achievements, challenges, and successful strategies.

The event culminated with a renewed commitment to continue promoting the integral formation and sanctification of the diocesan clergy, a mission that the Logos Priesthood Center has dedicatedly embraced throughout its 25-year history.
