On the fourth day, the delegates began the “actuaries” stage in team and group dynamics. Additionally, the presence of the Secretary of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life was noted.

The delegates started the day with the actuares worked by teams, a working modality that aims to respond to:

• How do we want to respond as Regnum Christi?
• What do we envision as possible overall apostolic priorities for the entire Regnum Christi for the period 2024-2030?
• Possible recommendations and guidelines for the governments of the Regnum Christi Federation and, if applicable, of the Federated Institutes?

For their part, the group actuares seek to validate and make a consensual proposal that contains:

• A consolidated version of the core evaluations and recommendations for the entire Regnum Christi.
• Proposals for possible overall apostolic priorities.
• Possible recommendations and guidelines for the governing bodies.

At noon, Fr. Riccardo Garzari, L.C., reflected in the homily on the need to remain united to Christ in love. Referencing the first reading of the day’s Mass, he delved into how the apostles discussed certain topics such as salvation reserved for the people of Israel.

“At that moment, Peter received a special calling from God because there was a change of horizons: it was necessary to open up to the nations and not just to the people of Israel. Paul and Barnabas also spoke of their experience. James takes what Peter said and reflects it in the Scriptures, and that is where the actuares emerge. How did they arrive at this? They reflected that God, and not one person, was the protagonist” (Fr. Riccardo Garzari, L.C.).

After Mass, Sister Simona Brambilla, former Superior General of the Missionaries of Consolata (Italy) and secretary of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, accompanied the delegates of the General Convention during lunch and exchanged some ideas with Father John Connor, L.C., General Director of the Legionaries of Christ.

Nancy Nohrden, General Director of the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi, expressed words of gratitude to Sister Simona: “We are discussing here at the table about charism; we feel called to make the mystery of Christ present, and this requires a certain dynamic. One of these dynamics is that Christ first gathers His disciples and reveals the love of His heart to them. Over these years, we have felt the love of Christ through the presence of Church representatives among us, who have accompanied, guided, and sometimes corrected us.”

For her part, Sister Simona reflected on synodality in the Church, which involves dialogue and living in mission: “Thank you for this opportunity for spiritual sharing among brothers and sisters. From what I have heard here at the table, I want to highlight something that touched my heart: walking together and in synodality. In synodality, there are two fundamental aspects that are interconnected: communion and communion in mission. These are two realities that validate each other. True communion leads to going out, and going out leads to expanding and deepening communion. This is my wish for the entire Convention: that it be a synodal convention, that is, one of communion and mission.”

At the end of the afternoon, there was a Eucharistic hour at the parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Philip the Martyr, attended also by some members of Regnum Christi from Rome, as well as communities of Legionaries of Christ, consecrated persons, and lay consecrated members from Rome.
