The Legionary parents expressed their desire to continue contributing to the pastoral work of the Catholic Church in Santiago
On Sunday, October 20th, the Legionaries of Christ who carry out their ministry in the capital of the country and in Argentina received a visit from Mons. Fernando Chomali, Archbishop of Santiago, at the Regnum Christi Mission Center in Piedra Roja.
Mons. Chomali, who was recently appointed a cardinal, shared some reflections based on the letter that Pope Francis sent to the clergy who will be created cardinals on December 7th.
The conversation covered various topics, such as dialogue between the Church and the Government; the current wars in the Holy Land and Ukraine; vocational promotion in the Santiago archdiocese; the Church’s educational work and vocation in schools and universities; the urgency of proclaiming the kerygma to existential peripheries; etc.
The Legionary parents expressed their willingness to continue contributing to the pastoral work of the Catholic Church in Santiago through personal effort and through our institutional apostolates.
