Meeting, study, sharing, exchange of experiences and prayer were the characteristics of this encounter of Regnum Christi vocations.
On September 19 and 20, at the headquarters of the general direction of the Legionaries of Christ, the territorial directors of the Legionaries, the territorial directors of the Consecrated Women of Regnum Christi and the delegates of the Lay Consecrated of Regnum Christi, held a series of meetings focused on deepening and better understanding various characteristic aspects of Regnum Christi, based on the Federation Statutes.
Father John Connor, L.C., general director of the Legionaries of Christ, indicated that “we addressed the common mission and how each vocation of Regnum Christi contributes, from its identity, to that joint mission (…) taking into account apostolic activity, among others.”
To let the Holy Spirit guide the participants, there were moments of joint prayer, beginning with Holy Mass. There were also sharing sessions and exchange of experiences based on the learning from those days. “This has helped to discover what we can work on together, the strengths of each vocation and the challenges we have ahead,” stated Father John, “all with a view to very good preparation for the General Convention of Regnum Christi,” an event that will take place between April and May 2024.
