Throughout the world, Legionary priests of Christ and members of the Regnum Christi family lived through missions helping different communities to live in Christ
As every year during Holy Week, missions were carried out in the various countries and localities where Regnum Christi is present. A special moment of grace where the Legionaries, consecrated men and women, lay members of Regnum Christi, and volunteers helped different communities to live this very important period of the liturgical year, during which the most important mysteries of our faith are celebrated.
This year, 30 years of work in medical missions, house construction, visits to penitentiary centers, and evangelization activities by the Youth and Missionary Family missionaries were celebrated. For this reason, the missions in the northern territories of Mexico and in Mexico and Central America had a festive tone, as Mexico is the country where this apostolate originated, which now extends to more than 24 countries and benefits both the missionaries who participate and the communities visited, spiritually and humanly.
Missions are part of the Legionary identity: “The purpose of the Congregation is to give glory to God and seek that Christ reigns in the lives of its members, in the hearts of men, and in society” (Constitutions, 2), therefore, “…must have an apostolic approach, aimed at communicating Christ and His message”. (Constitutions, 100).
We share some videos and photos of the missions carried out in various countries:
