He made his perpetual profession in Rome, in October 1985. He was ordained a priest on January 3, 1991, by Saint John Paul II, on the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Legion of Christ. He obtained a license in philosophy from the Gregorian University and a license in theology from the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum.
