Nearly 40 people attended \u2013 almost all couples \u2013 local Logos directors in various dioceses of Mexico, as well as in Central America (attended the directors of the apostolate in Guatemala and Costa Rica).<\/p>\n<p>Present were Fr. Alfonso L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz, LC, director of Logos, Fr. Antonio Rivero, LC, general assistant of Logos, as well as Fr. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Padilla, LC, who is the direct support to the Logos team in Aguascalientes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the prayer and sacramental life during those days, a review of the year was made through panels in which two or three directors discussed both the cases that had positive results and the difficulties they encountered along the way.<\/p>\n<h4>Besides this analysis and shared reflection, various training topics were addressed:<\/h4>\n<p><em><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/04\/conferencia-3-e1554803017571.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-8327\" src=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/04\/conferencia-3-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"XIX International Convention of the Logos Priestly Center\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>\u201c<\/em><em>The mission of laypeople serving holiness and priest formation. Maxims of Christian perfection by Blessed Rosmini\u201d<\/em> (Fr. Alfonso L\u00f3pez Mu\u00f1oz, LC), as a presentation of a model of a well-formed priest fully identified with his mission, holy and wise.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHow to approach, understand, and motivate diocesan priests, detecting their needs\u201d<\/em> (Fr. Antonio Rivero; LC), based on the extensive experience Fr. Antonio has had as a formator of diocesan seminarians at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smme.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mater Ecclesiae in Brazil<\/a>, as vice-parish priest at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.betaniaweb.890m.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Santa Mar\u00eda de Betania in Buenos Aires<\/a>, Argentina, in legionary formation houses as a teacher and spiritual director, and finally, as a preacher of retreats and speaker at various courses on spirituality and sacred preaching in different dioceses of Mexico and Central America over recent years through Logos.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHow to speak of God in the modern world: Challenges, obstacles, and action guidelines to transmit faith\u201d<\/em> (Carlos Dalton), aiming to highlight the difficulties we all face today, priests and laity, in \u201ctalking about God\u201d to today\u2019s man, and considering the proposed solution by philosopher Fabrice Hadjadj.<\/p>\n<h4>Other topics also discussed included:<\/h4>\n<p><em><a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/04\/misa-e1554803079482.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-8328\" src=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/04\/misa-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"XIX International Convention of the Logos Priestly Center\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>\u201cChallenges for priests and laity: How to set priorities according to a correct hierarchy in our service offerings to bishops, seminary rectors (major and minor), those responsible for ongoing clergy formation, and priests in general.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Family: Creation of man or God&#8217;s plan? The ideology of gender\u201d<\/em> (topic presented by Gianfranco Amato, president of the Catholic lawyers of Italy and director of the \u2018Jurists for Life\u2019 association in that country; also founder of a political party that promotes human dignity, the rights of man from conception to natural death, as well as the rights of parents to the guardianship of their children in matters of education and values).<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cCommentary on the homily of Saint John Paul II on the ABC of fidelity\u201d<\/em> (Fr. John Walsh, LC), applying it to the life of the priest and how committed laypeople in Logos can help foster the fidelity of priests.
