They have nothing but at the same time showed us that they possess something greater. The children\u00a0manifest an astonishing happiness\u00a0even though materially they have nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">And sometimes we complain even about\u00a0insignificant things.<a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image031.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5705\" src=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image031-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"image031\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/subdir.legionariosdecristo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image031-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/subdir.legionariosdecristo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image031.jpg 531w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">These people taught us that one can stay\u00a0happy despite living amidst trash; and instead of sadness, bitterness, and complaints, we\u00a0encounter children and families with strong faith in God. They truly taught me a lot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">Tom\u00e1s Alberto, one of the group,\u00a0told us on the way back that a girl took him to her &#8220;paradise,&#8221; a corner amidst the trash that was better arranged.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">I saw them playing in the dirt, dust, and garbage, always smiling, sharing their happiness. I insist, they have nothing but showed us that\u00a0they have Christ in their hearts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">We played soccer for a while\u00a0with them, after visiting\u00a0their chapel,\u00a0praying a rosary, and\u00a0distributing food and clothing that we brought for them. What caught my attention, during the game, was a boy with crutches who was missing a foot. He told us that he was run over by a trailer when he was little. Instead of bullying him, as they would in any school, his friends passed him the ball so he could participate in the game. What a gesture of\u00a0solidarity from his friends! They truly cared for him, even though he was missing a foot and therefore couldn&#8217;t be as fast for\u00a0the game.<a ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image025.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-5706\" src=\"http:\/\/legionariosdecristo.org\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image025-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"image025\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/subdir.legionariosdecristo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image025-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/subdir.legionariosdecristo.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2015\/11\/image025.jpg 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">There is much more to tell, but I hope that those who have read me so far\u00a0will also commit to helping these people,\u00a0and also think about making Mexico a country without dumps, with a culture of recycling. They deserve a better place to live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">Solutions can surely be found so that all these people, amidst the dumps, also have the right to education and a more dignified home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: Arial\">Nothing is impossible for God!
