Fr. Luis Alberto Henao, L.C., was born in Medell\u00edn, Colombia, in 1975. He entered the Legion of Christ in 1994 and was part of the founding of the novitiate in Colombia. He was ordained a priest on December 20, 2008, by Cardinal Angelo Sodano in Rome. He studied classical humanities in Spain and obtained a licentiate in philosophy in Rome, where he also trained in theology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the early years of his priestly ministry, he served as a formator: he was vice-rector of the vocational centers in Guadalajara and M\u00e9rida, rector of the vocational center in Chile, and assistant to the novices in Colombia-Venezuela. Later, he assumed various pastoral and administrative responsibilities, including: local director of the apostolate in Medell\u00edn, chaplain of the Mano Amiga School in Bello, rector of the Cumbres School in Bogot\u00e1, chaplain of the Metropolitan University of Caracas, and director of the women’s section in Lima. In addition, he served as administrator and territorial secretary of the Territory of Colombia\u2013Venezuela, among other functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
